Getting started with Softdrive Explorer is easy
Download & Install
Download the application package for your platform (Windows or macOS) from our secure servers. Run the installer and follow the simple installation wizard. The installation process typically takes less than a minute and requires minimal system resources. Once installed, the application will integrate directly with your file explorer without requiring a system restart.
Connect Your Account
When you first launch Softdrive Explorer, you'll be prompted to sign in with your existing Softmask account or create a new one. Creating a new account is free and only requires your email address. During setup, you'll create your encryption keys that ensure your data remains private and secure. These keys are never sent to our servers, maintaining your complete privacy.
Start Uploading
After successfully signing in to your account, you'll have the ability to select and upload any of your important files directly to your secure cloud storage environment. Softdrive Explorer provides you with all the same powerful capabilities as our comprehensive web application, while also preparing to introduce additional convenient features in the near future.
